It is a pleasure to remind summer, careless days of rest and trips in rainy cloudy autumn.
Trophy-expedition «Siberian marathon-2011. Call of Morinkhur (Mongolian bow-instrument)» was organized by Novosibirsk club of extreme auto-travels OFF ROAD MASTER. It started on 18th July to Mongolia.
Unforgivable participation of «Yarkiy Luch» team at competition.
It is always interesting to start something new – this year «Yarkiy Luch» became a sponsor and a participant of a bike ride. It was Roschinskiy bike-marathon in honor of Salavat Yunusov.
We have a chance to communicate with many sportsmen and fans at the camp. They came to our tent and were interested in our flashlights. We replied their questions and listened attentively their wishes. Full families arrived both to take a part in the competition and to have a wonderful rest out-of–doors as the weather was great! (in spite of a lot of mosquitoes).
«Yarkiy Luch» team consisted of 3 participants who decided to try themselves at the broken ground after city riding. The participant from our team shared with his bright impressions: «Having arrived on the eve we pitched camp not far from the start place to have the possibility to try the first kilometers of the route in advance in the evening and at the same time to test new models of the flashlights. But the night was not dark and we failed to value the characteristics of the flashlights in full measure but we noted some important parameters for ourselves.
Even in the conditions of white nights velo-torch is not only accessor but it is necessity when you ride along forest roads going around stones, fallen trees and the other obstacles.
On 5th June at 12-00 the first group had a start for 60 km route, 144 participants took part at this route. There are World’s champions, Europe’s champions and masters of sports among these participants. The Earth shuddered after the starting whistle and the crowd of the bike riders passed leaving the clouds of dust behind themselves.
30 minutes passed and it was our turn. We started in the second ride for 40 kilometers route. What a wonderful ride it was: with forest roads, shallows of the river and sometimes with the real impassable roads!
Around after 10 kilometers all participants spread steadily along the route. Velo-torch with mp3 –player amused me during my riding. The flashing mode of the flashlight allowed me to be visible for the other route participants. Favorite music, sunny weather, unusual nice wild nature – what else could you ask for excellent weekend?
We can not do without adventures - some riders strayed, became far from the finish and run out of steam Our jeep «Yarkiy Luch» moved to help them and get became weak people to the camp!
More than 400 riders took part in all rides. It was a special separate route for the children under 12 years old. All exits to the highway were blocked to arrange the safety of the competition. All participants were enjoyed by pleasant surprise at the tape.
They had a chance to have a meal and recover strength.

Focus on the journey, not the destination! For our team it was a very interesting adventure that we will surely repeat next year!
